Discover the Desert

Trekking
For centuries people have been Mt Sinai to witness the sun rise across the desert landscape. If the three-hour hike, stay overnight at St Catherine Monastery, hire a camel and walk down in leisure. Definitely a must if you are happy for the early rise.
Snorkelling and swimming
Egypt's sublime coastline is easily assessable. Shoot out off the coast and snorkel or take a glass-bottomed boat from the shores of Sharm el-Sheik and the fish will come to you. If you not interested in getting your feet wet, just sit back on the beach and let the sun come to you.
Scuba Diving
The Red Sea lives up to expectation and has an abundant amount of colour, clear water, coral and drop offs as far as the eye can see. Head for Ras Mohamed National Park for the underwater world at its best.
Hungry
The catch of the day, seasoned with exotic spices and dressed ina dozen mezze (small dishes), is a treat you don’t want to miss out on.
