If you wish to include the medical conditions you will be required to complete an Existing Medical Condition (EMC) form to determine whether the condition is covered for free, for a fee or excluded. To complete the EMC form online please follow these steps; no payment details are required during the application.

  1. Click on the Buy Now button on any of the policies that are available
  2. Continue through and enter in your personal details and email address and make sure you select Yes to EMC and continue.
  3. You will then be redirected to the nib website to complete the EMC form. All your personal details will be pre-populated.
  4. You can click through the 4 pages via the Continue button on the bottom right of the screen, all travel and personal fields will be pre-populated.
  5. Click on 'YES' when requested about Existing Medical Conditions (EMC), which is after all your personal details.
  6. Complete the form and enter in the condition/s you wish to include on your policy.
  7. Once completed you will receive your Quote Number via email.

Snowboarding Travel Insurance

Planning a trip to the slopes this ski season? Travel Insurance Saver offers a wide range of skiing and snowboarding travel insurance policies, to ensure that you and/or a travelling partner, plus your equipment are protected. 

Snow sports cover is not automatically covered. To apply for Snow Sports cover you will need to select the Snow Cover in the additional extras in the quoting panel.

Up to an amount of unlimited for medical evacuation and repatriation with Annual multi-trip travel plan and International travel plans.

Off-Piste Ski and Snowboarding Travel Insurance

Off-Piste skiing and snowboarding travel insurance are only available on the International Comprehensive and Annual Multi Trip policies, all other policies have Off Piste skiing and snowboarding as a General Exclusion.   
 
Ski Travel Insurance  
Our policies cover you for medical evacuation and repatriation so should you be injured on a mountain slope, you’ll be able to get airlifted to a hospital. We offer a Melbourne based 24/7 Emergency Assistance phone line through QBE Assist. 

Our new easy to use self-service quoting system offers a ‘snow cover’ addition which will provide you with additional information on what snow cover offers.
