1. Great Wall of China
Obviously the first thing on our list, well maybe not so obvious as there are so many things to do in China, but you get the drift, is the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China is massive, and stretches for an astounding 21,000 km. The wall was built to keep out enemy invaders from the North, particularly the Mongol horde, who eventually broke into and conquered China. The wall was also built to keep Chinese people inside of China. It's well worth checking out the Great Wall if you do travel to China.

Beijing used to be called Peking, but the famous dish still retains its namesake.
