South-East Asia is a land of mystery unto its own. What was once known as Indochina, well the continental portion at least, is now a collection of different nations with varying cultures. South-East Asia has been a hotspot for tourists for a very long time, mostly due to the affordable prices, friendly people and vibrant culture.
The total area covered by South-East Asia is around 4.5 million square kilometres, making it slightly larger than Australia. The difference being that South-East Asia is almost entirely covered in lush jungle, however, a lot of this land is broken up into islands and peninsulas.
