South-East Asia is a land of mystery unto its own. What was once known as Indochina, well the continental portion at least, is now a collection of different nations with varying cultures. South-East Asia has been a hotspot for tourists for a very long time, mostly due to the affordable prices, friendly people and vibrant culture.
The total area covered by South-East Asia is around 4.5 million square kilometres, making it slightly larger than Australia. The difference being that South-East Asia is almost entirely covered in lush jungle, however, a lot of this land is broken up into islands and peninsulas.

Technically Papua New Guinea is a part of Oceania, which includes Australia, New Zealand, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. With so many countries spread throughout the ocean, it is easy to see why people opt to cruise around for their holiday.
