- Maximum Payout Limits: The maximum payout for any single item is 50% of the overall limit stated in the Schedule of Cover, except for valuables and electronic equipment, which have their own limits.
- Baggage Delay: If your baggage is delayed or misdirected by the travel carrier for more than 12 hours, you'll be reimbursed for essential items you need to purchase. You'll receive up to $500 for the initial 12-hour period and up to $500 for each subsequent 24-hour delay, up to the limit in the Schedule of Cover.
Exclusions:
- Items Left in Vehicles: Baggage left in a motor vehicle is only covered if the vehicle was forcibly entered. The maximum payout for items stolen from a locked vehicle is $200 per item, up to $2,000 total. Electronic equipment and valuables left in vehicles are not covered.
