If you wish to include the medical conditions you will be required to complete an Existing Medical Condition (EMC) form to determine whether the condition is covered for free, for a fee or excluded. To complete the EMC form online please follow these steps; no payment details are required during the application.

  3. You will then be redirected to the nib website to complete the EMC form. All your personal details will be pre-populated.

  5. Click on 'YES' when requested about Existing Medical Conditions (EMC), which is after all your personal details.
  6. Complete the form and enter in the condition/s you wish to include on your policy.
  7. Once completed you will receive your Quote Number via email.

We cover up to 26 week's gestation in relation to your pregnancy. You may still take a travel insurance policy after 26 weeks, but you won’t be covered for anything relating to your pregnancy after the 26th week of your pregnancy.
 
We will not pay a claim that arises because of the following: The birth of a child, at any gestation regardless of the cause. (Unless otherwise excluded by this policy we will cover pregnancy conditions, including a pregnancy complication or illness of the mother up to and including 26 weeks gestation.
